Eddie’s Cheesesteak is hands down one of the best places we visited while in Akron, Ohio. Eddie and his team went above and beyond—shutting down the entire restaurant just to serve our group of 39 from Transformation Ministries. The hospitality was incredible, and the food was absolutely amazing. Everyone in our group was impressed and grateful for the experience. Eddies Cheesesteak and Grilles, is the restaurant where you can get the best delicious meal Quick and easy and very tasty! I enjoyed my experience being my first time eating at this restaurant. I highly recommend this restaurant for everyone to try and enjoy it as a treat to your tastebuds !!!
walked in for a quick lunch while working across the street. was quickly greeted by the cook who took my order and got down to business. my food came out in short order and I was very impressed with the portion sizes for the price. great value, the half original cheesesteak and regular fries with a 20oz coke was 13 before tip and they definitely don’t hold back on fries. sandwich was nicely filled, but not to the degree the fries were. they have a sauce ‘bar’ of housemade sauces, as others have mentioned the kicking ketchup was great. I found the balsamic ketchup to go great with my cheesesteak. the pepper dip kind of tasted like 1000 island, not particularly spicy but I didn’t try very much of it. overall quite solid sandwich for a great price and awesome fries with a hefty portion.

Just started working in downtown Akron and found this gem of a place a block away from my office. Killer Cheesesteaks and the best fries around. Fun atmosphere, awesome staff, and amazing house made sauces. I'm literally here at least once a week for lunch now, if not more.
Best fries in Akron, hands down. The portion sizes are HUGE and I don't normally like ketchup but their 'kickin ketchup' is a must. I will be adding this place to my list of regular lunch spots without a doubt.
My first time here today. I am vegan and the lady on the register was very helpful and accommodating. I had a delicious sandwich made exactly how I wanted it and fries. The fries are unique and tasty and fresh. The atmosphere is cool and is super clean.im from youngstown. I'm not used to service this polite. When I thanked the lady for being so helpful to me she said " that's my job" . I haven't seen positive work ethic like that in ages. Everything was excellent at Eddies today and we will be back!!
